Larry Clark

Even before the opening of his exhibition scheduled for the 8th October at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, the work of renowned photographer and sulphurous American filmmaker Larry Clark has already produced its first political effects. His images reflect the uncompromising disorientation and drift of teenagers trapped in drugs, sex, violence and despair. By showing the dark side of adolescence which the company insists on not seeing the distress, suffering and difficulties in life, its images are disturbing, at the risk of falling under the scope of law(as access to the exhibition will be only to minors under 18 years). In fact, the exhibition of Larry Clark reactive the complex and crucial debate on censorship, law, legality and transgression, in other words on politics. Respect for the right pays the high tribute for the sacrifice of the freedom of Art!!!
